I don't have other Windows 10 installation to test other way, so I need help.ġ. I think I do in import process any mistake. It is not new problem, but now I need to shift down many of characters (over 100 chars) and copy/paste bitmap is not applicable - this work can be for weeks, if it can be without this bug it is work of single day. But when I want to edit bitmap, I see never imported or updated and even also edited in current system. opened EUDCEDIT and manually linked with all fonts.Īll characters are back. overwrite EUDC.TTE in Windows\Fonts folderģ. This problem appeared first time in Windows 10.ġ. I can edit/update all of them but always must to copy whole bitmap and edit it generally. Problem is when I open EUDCEDIT, I cannot see bitmaps - only empty chars. After this save the character via CTRL + S or EDIT > Save.

My suggestion for future updates of EUDCEDIT - add binary backup - like each of us knows: all is anywhere stored, only find where, is sometimes harder. So, can anybody tell me where to find private characters to backup it? Nobody knows where they're stored, I mean best match who will know answer on this Q is Microsoft forum. I created in time more than 200 private characters and each reinstall (in future) it makes big task. When I integrate it into all fonts, I found never written All character set. I tried many forums and everywhere was told - look at exported TTE - but really - I'm not any fatal newbie in Windows and I found never TTE file, I was searching lot locations, set private path, displayed system Q: Where are in Windows stored data of private characters created by Private Character Editor (EUDCEDIT)? Private Character Editor (EUDCEDIT) data storing QĪs first I didn't knew where to post this Q.
